Judging Process
The Awards are judged by an independent panel of eminent industry experts, chosen for their expertise across the construction industry.
After the closing date, our judges are sent every entry that complies with the entry requirements. Three judges will look at each category, and the shortlist will be compiled from their marks.
Once the initial shortlist has been drawn up, it is published in Contract Journal (expected publication date is 16th June 2009). After that, shortlisted entries are contacted individually and asked to submit more detailed entries for final judging. Shortlisted entries are also audited by Grant Thornton, who will contact the two external referees put forward by each entry and will draw up a report as a result.
All judges meet after the auditing process to scrutinise each entry, and will make their final decisions. Winners will be announced.
The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
